あることのお祝いで、このお店を使いました。

人形町今半は、明治28年（1895年）本所に創業者 半太郎が
牛鍋屋として創業以来、常に最高の牛肉を提供することを使命
とし商売を続け、一世紀を超えて受け継いでまいりました。
前日の予約で、残念ながら２階しゃぶしゃぶは満席。
で、１階の鉄板になりました。でも、半個室で居心地はＯＫ。
先付。ちょっと固めのお豆腐？
春の旬のサラダ。知らない食材がたくさんありました。
（名前聞いたけど、忘れた・・・）。菜の花も入っていました。
お刺身も新鮮で美味しい！

今半御殿 明治時代牛肉を食べる文化が出来た頃、東京に持っていくと
どんな牛でも売れるということで、正規のルート以外から牛が入ってきました。
それは、病気で死んだ牛、老衰でとても食に適さない牛などさまざまな牛でした。
その頃政府から認められた牛の食肉工場が今里町（現、芝白金付近）にありました。
（注：芝白金とは、今の白金台１～２丁目付近）
そこで、今半は今里町から来た牛肉だけを使用しています。と言う意味と
当時流行った今様（いまよう）と言う語句の「今」の文字を使ったと
言われています。
そして、「半」は創業者の名前が「半太郎」というところから屋号
を「今半」としました。
＊何だか、白金とご縁がありましたね～（白金台ですがー）
半個室の窓。外はビル群のはずなのに、ちょっと風流。
目の前で焼いてくださいます。
本当は焼いてくださる職人さんを一緒にパチッと
したかったのですが、何となく手だけを撮影・・・
最後は苺のアイス。これもまたお上品なお味。
本日は「桂コース」で６３００円（税など別）でございました。
