ブルキナファソ （Burkina Faso）は、西アフリカに位置する共和制国家。北にマリ、東にニジェール、南東にベナン、トーゴ、南にガーナ、南西にコートジボワールと国境を接する。首都はワガドゥグー。

第二次世界大戦後フランスから離れ非同盟路線を歩むが、1987年以降はフランスとの関係を最重視している。中華民国を承認している。旧国名はオートボルタ（上ボルタ）だったが、1984年に現在の国名になった。(Wikipediaより)
